Following Taikoo Li, Chengdu has added another naked-eye 3D screen. The naked-eye 3D public media art produced by M-TANG in collaboration with Leyard Cultural Tourism is located at Hejiang Pavilion, where the Fu River and Nan River meet in Chengdu. Hejiang Pavilion was built 1200 years ago and is the earliest “municipal park” in Chengdu’s history. The character “He” in Hejiang Pavilion means “harmony” and “happily married for a hundred years,” and with the confluence of the two rivers, it symbolizes auspiciousness. Today, it has become a veritable “love check-in spot” in Chengdu.
During the Spring Festival Golden Week, “Night Cruise on Jinjiang” received nearly 190,000 tourists, with the entire Jinjiang River lined with dazzling lights and unprecedented splendor. As one of the important nodes of the Jinjiang night tour, Hejiang Park has strengthened the landscape ceremony and interactive scene design around the theme of love.
Unlike the commercial of the large screen in Taikoo Li, Chengdu, the naked-eye 3D screen at Hejiang Pavilion is located within a municipal park and is a pure public art media installation. We have created a natural habitat for flamingos, which symbolize love, and a wonderful three-dimensional landscape.
