On January 26, 2021, the NEW IN CITY 2021 Chengdu New Economy Sharing Conference, hosted by ByteDance, was held at Chengdu’s Great Magic Cube. This conference was an innovative government work meeting conducted under the context of global interconnectivity, using an online conference as the vehicle. It featured one main venue and 150 sub-venues, with renowned universities, industry associations, well-known enterprises, and investment institutions from 19 countries and regions including the United States, the European Union, Japan, South Korea, and Thailand, sharing the new economic opportunities of Chengdu.

“I am a little goblin, carefree and at ease!” The classic line from the animated film “Ne Zha: Birth of the Demon Child” has made the protagonist Ne Zha’s playful and ambiguous character deeply ingrained in people’s minds. This “Made in Chengdu” animated character has now become the image of Chengdu’s new economy IP. M-TANG had the honor of bringing “Ne Zha” to produce a naked-eye 3D holographic opening show for the conference.
